Concept and execution by Jochen Arbeit, Abraham Hurtado, Vania Rovisco and aid performer Orlando

Michel Krome owner of Krome Galerie located in the Karl-Marx-Allee approached AADK and commissioned a work that was to be subversive in the sence that it would run along side his official exhibition of Portuguese artist Carlos Bunga for the opening of the Galerie Weekend. AADK was to make an action that would take place in the historic setting of the Karl-Marx-Allee. Musician Jochen Arbeit composed a score mixing the Marseile amongst other brass band music commonly known as Schunkel Musik. Performers Abraham Hurtado, Vania Rovisco and Orlando built a tower in the central isle of the avenue. From the beginning it was estimated that the German authority would take about 25mins to react to the situation (it was also the celebrations of the 1st of May). Which they did and as they arrived the action performance ended and it all dispersed, with the crowd entering the gallery for drinks and the police leaving.
